We are seeking a freelance Middle .NET Developer to build a Revit BIM plugin that streamlines construction material sourcing through an online marketplace. This plugin will enable architects, construction managers, and contractors to efficiently access and compare materials, serving as a bridge between Revit and a SaaS marketplace to simplify and accelerate procurement.

Responsibilities:

Develop core features for displaying material quantities, data transfer, and integration with the marketplace.
Design a user-friendly interface for seamless data flow between Revit and the marketplace.
Implement an invitation system for contractors to view, compare, and select materials.
Ensure efficient data synchronization between the plugin and marketplace servers.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and incorporate feedback.
Optimize the plugin for performance and ease of use within Revit workflows.
Conduct testing and debugging to ensure functionality.
Maintain documentation for code, features, and integration processes.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in .NET development (C#), ideally in plugin or integration development.
Strong skills in RESTful API integration and data handling with external platforms.
Familiarity with Revit API or experience in Revit plugin development is highly desirable.
Knowledge of BIM principles and construction software; understanding of architecture or construction processes is a plus.
Proficiency in managing and transferring large datasets from Revit to a marketplace.
Proficient in English (B2 level) to facilitate clear communication with team members and stakeholders.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for effective collaboration with the team.
Adaptability and professionalism in a fast-paced work environment.
